Here is a little information about myself. Finishing up my commercial right now. I have around 270 TT, close to 40ME. I do most of my flying at UGN and DPA. I know the owner of IAA at DPA and he offered me a job as a traffic pilot down by St. Louis. It pays 10/hr, work 3 hours a day roughly. Good way to build time, or so I hear. I am wondering if anyone has been a traffic pilot either in the chicago or st. louis area preferably, or anywhere else for that matter. I would like to get as much information as possible. I have read other forums where some people said they had to work for free at the locations in st.louis and chicago. Im hoping that is not the case. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.
